This exclusive group class is for dogs who have completed our Board & Train program, offering ongoing training and practice in public spaces.
Prefer training at your home? Kalie’s K9 Homeschool Program offers the convenience of in-home sessions—1 hour per day, 5 days a week. One of our experienced trainers will travel to you and work one-on-one with your dog. While it’s not as intensive as our full-day programs, it’s a great option for busy owners looking for consistent, personalized training without leaving the house.

A calm dog does not happen through luck. Good habits grow with practice, clear guidance, and regular social time. Group classes offer all three. Every session gives your dog a chance to learn around other dogs, build better focus, and gain real-life skills that last long after class ends.
At The Traveling Hounds, LLC, every class helps dogs learn with confidence. Lessons stay fun, clear, and rewarding. Our trainers use positive methods backed through modern animal behavior research. Each dog moves at a pace that fits its learning style. Owners also learn simple ways to keep good habits going at home.
Dogs learn more than basic commands during group sessions. They also practice patience, self-control, and polite manners around people and other dogs. Those skills help make daily walks, family outings, and public visits far less stressful.
Each class creates a friendly setting where owners can ask questions, watch progress, and build stronger communication with their dogs. Small improvements each week often lead to lasting results.
Our classes focus on practical skills that help every day.
Every lesson has a clear goal. Dogs receive praise and rewards for correct choices, making learning enjoyable and easy to repeat.
No two dogs learn the same way. Some need extra time. Others move ahead quickly. Our trainers adjust lessons to match each dog’s personality, age, and skill level while keeping class enjoyable for everyone.
Our team also applies science-based training techniques that support lasting behavior change through fair and proven methods. Every step helps build trust rather than fear.
Some dogs need extra help beyond standard lessons. Our team also offers behavior work for fear, anxiety, poor manners, and other unwanted habits. Owners looking for advanced programs may also ask about service dog training, therapy dog training, personal detection training, scent detection training, or our Board and Train program.
Every recommendation starts with your dog’s goals rather than a one-size-fits-all plan.
Owners want results they can trust. Our experienced trainers focus on clear communication, fair guidance, and practical skills that work during everyday life. Dogs receive patient instruction while owners gain tools that make future training easier.
Positive learning builds stronger relationships. Good habits become part of daily life instead of short-term fixes.
If your goal is a polite family companion or stronger obedience around distractions, our group classes provide a welcoming place for steady progress.
Group classes welcome many dogs, from young puppies to older companions. Every dog should arrive healthy, ready to learn, and able to work safely around other dogs and people. Class placement depends on age, experience, and current skill level. A short conversation before enrollment helps place your dog where learning will be most successful and enjoyable.
Progress depends on regular practice, class attendance, and owner participation. Many families notice small improvements after only a few lessons, such as better focus or calmer behavior. Strong, reliable habits grow through repetition and patience. Regular practice at home between classes helps dogs keep learning and build lasting confidence around daily distractions.
Group classes add valuable social practice that private lessons cannot always provide. Dogs learn while other people and dogs remain nearby, helping improve focus and self-control. Owners also benefit from watching other teams learn, asking questions, and gaining useful ideas that can support continued success after each class.

At Traveling Hounds LLC, we believe a well-trained dog isn’t just obedient — they’re confident, calm, and a joy to live with. We're here for the busy dog owners, the first-timers, and the ones feeling overwhelmed.
